Comments from Health Professionals
“Many of my patients request information about nutritional products that help support joints, muscle function and restful sleep. CherryActive products are a source of powerful, natural, health promoting compounds and I am always glad to recommend them."
Dr Sarah Burnett - General Practioner
"CherryActive products have an exceptional antioxidant content that help maintain your body and mind in optimum health.
I recommend the CherryActive range to clients and practioners alike"
Patrick Holford - Nutrition expert.
"I have been amazed at the positive impact on my health since taking CherryActive. The improvement I would say was distinctly noticeable in 7 to 10 days. I am off to Austria skiing this Saturday and I'm not sure if this would be the case if I hadn't discovered your product. I have also sent my entry away for the British Seniors Club Pro's Championship in Norfolk come June, another big plus!"
Ricky Bowman, PGA Professional, Elderslie Golf Club
"I have just ordered my second
consignment of CherryActive Capsules.
I have also passed the information to my doctor who was impressed to see the positive scientific studies. My uric acid levels have normalised over the past few months and I feel that CherryActive has been a major factor in this."

Healthy Uric Acid Levels/Info on Gout
Healthcare professionals recommend taking a daily glass of diluted CherryActive Concentrate, or one to two CherryActive Capsules, as part of a healthy and active lifestyle, to help maintain uric acid at healthy, normal levels.
Uric acid is the waste product formed from the breakdown of food and protein in the blood. The normal, healthy range of uric acid in blood plasma is regarded by medical professionals as between 3.6 mg/dL (~214µmol/L) and 8.3 mg/dL (~494µmol/L). Should uric acid levels build up in the blood, typically beyond the normal, healthy range, it can form into needle-like crystals of sodium urate, which may cause inflammation, severe pain and swelling, often in the big toe and other joints (known as Gout – see our Gout Information Page).
Cherries have been shown by various scientific studies, to help maintain uric acid levels at normal, healthy levels (see research links below). However, many practitioners and consumers are only too familiar with the fact that sweet cherries (Prunus avium L.) are considerably less effective than the ruby-red, Montmorency tart cherry variety (Prunus cerasus L.). Montmorency cherries are considerably richer in anthocyanins (giving them their bright red hue), which are likely to be the key components within this variety of cherry that helps its effectiveness in maintaining uric acid at healthy levels.
CherryActive Concentrate and Capsules are made from carefully-selected Montmorency cherries, using special techniques to harness and optimise their health-promoting nutrients.
Our best-selling CherryActive Concentrate is an antioxidant-rich, concentrated Montmorency cherry juice. Simply mix with water to make a delicious cherry juice (suggested mix: 30ml with 250ml water in regular (half-pint) glass). Alternatively, add 30ml of CherryActive Concentrate to a smoothie, fruit juice or natural yoghurt. CherryActive Concentrate contains no added sugars, preservatives or other additives and also counts toward your 5-a-Day fruit and veg target.
CherryActive Capsules are uniquely made using nutrient-rich skins of Montmorency cherries to optimise the nutrients in each capsules. The skins are freeze-dried to protect the important nutrients from heat damage and then milled to a fine powder to help optimise absorption. Each 100% vegetarian capsule shell contains just CherryActive powder, with no added fillers, binders or other additives. CherryActive Capsules won the coveted Natural Trade Show Award for Best Product – Supplements and Remedies. CherryActive Capsules are best suited to customers who are on a calorie/carbohydrate restricted diet, for those who travel or who simply prefer the convenience of a daily capsule.
